Size 16 competed in a beauty pageant!?

<-----pretty dress!!
Chloe says:
“Everybody thinks you have to be a tall, slim blonde and I’m a curvy brunette. I want to show it is possible to be beautiful and not a standard size zero. The reaction I’ve had is great. Other girls have told me I have really boosted their confidence, which is terrific.”

Ok? If we should take it by her word, she says she's active and she's loving her body, feeling confident and beautiful, now what is wrong with that? Shouldn't that be an inspiration to other younger girls that aren't happy with their bodies because they feel that they are fat? when really...they may not be? or are...but then may get inspired to get a healthier life style or just feeling better about themselves knowing they are not alone and that THEY are still BEAUTIFUL, so they can get that glow of confidence?
I think that everyone deserves a chance for "glory" or what you should call it, Chloe deserved to be in the Miss England, everyone deserves a chance. Also, she was crowned 1st runner up (2nd place) in the pageant in 2008.
I am not saying it is OK being "fat", of course it's really important to be healthy, but...it isn't that easy for everyone to loose weight or to become skinny when you've always been thick boned etc. etc. and then at least, I think it's nice to see different shapes out there in the media, to see that bigger people aren't being put aside just cause they don't fit the mould.
I think I will always be a little bit bigger, I'm thick boned, I've got curves and fat on places where there should be that much fat, hehe, I can always get rid of that by eating healthier food and doing exercise, problem is, I HATE exercising!! So we'll see what happens, healthy food I like so I'll start with that...

They're all gorgeous.
The site's forum also has thought-provoking discussions about body image and the media.
I am an American in New Hampshire, USA. I am a 39 Year old Male that is the Great Grandson of A Tinker. I Earned a B+ in Psychology of Love and Sex in 1993 at Plymouth State University. Fat Women are apprciated by Men that have Disorders over Mother and Child Bonding. Is it a Human Right to be Fat and or Overweight? Do Thin Women have the Human Right to be Thin? Men in America have Sexuality Completly Dehumanized and the Adult Entertainment Industry is Isane. Esspecially on the Internet.
