DIY Lace detailed shorts

Hi everyone!
I've been working on these shorts for forever :P and I'm finally done! Yay! I was inspired by a DIY tutorial on Pinterest, you can find it on my DIY and Crafts Board in my Pinterest Profile.
I found this lace detailed fabric at a fabric store in the City in the Garment district, it was kind of expensive but I fell in love with it at first sight and thought it would work perfectly with the shorts I was making and I really like the way they turned out :)
It doesn't look exactly like the lace shorts on the DIY tutorial I originally saw, but that's just good, I wanted them to be my own.
I bought the jeans at Walmart from the men's department for around 10$ (size 38" waist) and cut them off, I cut wedges on the sides and applied the lace over the wedge, covering it. Sew it on by hand :)
Distressed them a little, throw them in the wash and voila! ;)
Love that they look more cute and romantic compared to the other cut off jean shorts I've recently made that look more edgy.

Thanks for reading and following *hearts*
XOXO
