FFFWEEK: Indie Designer Showcase Pt.1
Friday night during Full Figured Fashion Week was Indie Designer Showcase night! I was so excited, I couldn't wait to see the show, especially after meeting some of the designers during the "Private Press and Buyers Reception" and getting to get to know them a little. It is so nice to see creative fashionable people creating their own fashion vision, brining it to life, so inspiring!
I've heard so many great experiences from the Indie fashion show from previous years, many feels it is the best fashion show during the week, and I couldn't agree more! I did not disappoint!
The runway was playfully decorated with neon green ruffles down the runway and artwork on the walls.
The show opened with an entertaining performance by the great singers of The Glamazons.
After that the show was in full motion starting off with great styles from "ONOZ" which is a French brans based in Paris, love their trendy and feminine style! What do you think? :)
The brand that followed was "Amiie" which is a European/German luxury plus size brand now based in New York City, Dunja Messer-Jourdain's clothes are so romantic and exotic, very unique to say the least, loved it! One of my favorite for sure! Don't you agree?
Ashley from This is Ashley Rose looked super chic and edgy that night, love this outfit on her! Karen from Curvy Canadian also looked wonderful! Love this colorful and cute dress! My two Fashion Front Buddies looking gorgeous!
3rd designer up was "ZMJ" Jeans, founded by sisters Zakiya Jones and Tashiba Jones-Wilson, they design trendy and chic denim jeans. With fun colors, patterns and trims, these jeans make sure to embrace your curves. Perfect combo! Which ones are your favorites? I love the black jeans with glitter side trim! I need them! :)
Next up was "Skinny Billionaires" By Pamela Wood. Really liked how dramatic and fabulous her collection was, a lot of glamorous long gowns and maxi dresses. Totally inspiring! Really loved the off-white lace set, so different, in a good way, loved it! Was super excited to see "Youtheary Khmer" on the runway, the collection was fabulous! Another one of my favorites! I really like how they have a collection of chic affordable clothes available, being an independent designer that's awesome! Really loved their flowy chiffon maxi dresses in bright colors and leopard prints!
Took so many pictures of all the designers collections this night, so I'm going to split this night up in 2 parts ;) so I hope you enjoyed this one and the next update is coming soon, so stay tuned ;)
RUE 114 is coming up, can't wait to share my photos, love love love them, RUE was my absolute favorite designer that night!
Until next time...
